Académie Dectro does not require any prerequisites or admission testing. You must be at least 16 years of age, and must be able to meet with one of the schools administrators prior to enrollment in order to effectively determine and target your educational expectations and confirm your aptness at following an intensive training program.
You can use an RESP (Registered Education Savings Plan) or register for a LLP (Lifelong Learning Plan) by using your RRSP.  A personal loan from a financial institution is also an option that is available, and in turn, its cost is tax deductible. Contact your bank for more information on what options are available to you.
Diplomas in aesthetic and electrolysis issued by Académie Dectro are recognized by the AEEQ (Association of Electrologists and Aestheticians of Québec) and by the Government of Canada. Both occupational employers and insurance companies for the beauty industry recognize our organization.
You must first attend our Customer Service Department in order to pay for your training fees (as determined and provided during your registration), and retrieve your training package that is needed for the program. The school doors open at 8:00 am and your course begins at 8:30 am. You must wear your black uniform (purchased beforehand), “street chic” styled black pants and flat heel closed toe black shoes. Be sure to bring paper and pencils. There is a 15 minute morning and afternoon break, with a 1 hour recess for lunch. Refrigerators and microwaves are available onsite. If you do not have a predetermined method of payment in place for your training program, you must provide the institution with post-dated cheques or apply for a payment plan.
